Dear Friends,

                                 Char

Dear Friends,

My name is Pam Faison Brewer, and I am Bill's sister. I write you today to voice my strong support for Bill's bid for Governor.

Bill is relentlessly pursuing a world-class education for all kids. He knows the public education in our State has been the envy of the Country. We need Bill's leadership as Governor. We need his thoughtful, practical and common sense solutions to the issues we face. Under the Republicans, our per pupil spending plummeted to the bottom ten in the United States. That's not good enough for our kids.

Dear Friends,

My name is MaryAnn Scandurra. I am a concerned citizen that believes that we should protect our environment. I am writing you today to voice my support for Bill Faison for Governor.

Dear Friends,

My name is Teresa Faison Hale and I am Bill's sister. I write you today to voice my strong support for Bill's bid for Governor. Bill stands by the values of hard work and defending the "little guy" that has made North Carolina one of the greatest States. We need Bill's leadership as Governor of North Carolina.

Dear Friends,

Last night at 8 pm, the Democratic Candidates for Governor debated before the voters on UNC-TV and on Monday night they debated before WRAL.

Thousands of people from all walks of life have endorsed my Dad for Governor. They are teachers, teacher aides, public employees, mechanics, small business owners, law enforcement professionals, firemen, those in the military, Moms, Dads, and community leaders. These people all know one thing - Bill Faison will fight for them. He has a record of fighting for people! All people!

Don't Waste Our Money On Divisive Constitutional Amendments That Do Nothing. The Legislature adjourned in June after passing one of the worst Budgets ever. Since then the Republican Leadership has brought us back into Session repeatedly to do one meaningless thing after another at a cost of $50,000 a day. Before they are done they will waste $1.1 million of our money on unnecessary Sessions that do nothing meaningful. Among the meaningless activities is a constitutional amendment that does nothing more than confirm a law that has gone unchallenged for more than a decade.

RALEIGH, N.C. — In an era of dependence on foreign oil and higher gasoline prices, pursuing underground energy sources that could simultaneously boost government coffers and job markets apparently are attractive to many of the candidates for North Carolina governor.

Most of the 12 candidates in the May 8 Democratic and Republican primaries for North Carolina governor say they're open to the idea of permitting companies to engage in a form of shale gas drilling called hydraulic fracturing — or fracking — with conditions.

Dear Friends,

Tonight at 7 pm, two of the Democratic Candidates for Governor will debate before the voters on WTVD. The debate will be rebroadcast Saturday, April 14th at 7:00 pm on ABC 11-WTVD and will be online.

"It is easy to be a critic, but being a doer requires effort, risk and change." ~Dr. Wayne Dyer

Dear Friends,

It is always easy to criticize, but criticizing brings little change. The effort and risk involved in "doing" and "challenging" is worth the opposition encountered in the process. To change our future course and that of our children, we must "do" and "challenge."
